Terms & Conditions

Our function room is available for private hire at a cost of £200. This includes your own bar person and your choice of music ( DJs and other live music will need to be discussed prior to your booking). There are WC facilities ( male & female ) and an area for soft seating with a space to dance. The function room has a maximum capacity of 70 – small groups would need to enquire with our manager.

We kindly ask that all guests entering and leaving the function room please use the walkway by the bar in the restaurant to avoid disturbing restaurant guests. When leaving the premises please also respect the residents that live on New Street and keep noise to a minimum.


We do not allow any other beverages to be brought into Liming Restaurant, alcoholic or otherwise. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest should we feel the need to.

Items such as birthday cakes will be allowed onto the site with prior approval. All drinks are subject to availability so please pre-order with us if you would like large quantities of specific items.


The function room is available to hire from 12pm to 23.45pm Monday to Sunday. All guests must depart the restaurant by 00.30am at the latest.

All music such as a band or DJ at an event hosted at Liming Restaurant are required to finish by midnight on Monday – Saturday and 23.30pm on Sunday. Liming can provide an aux cable to provide background music at a reasonable level.

Under no circumstances may items be stuck onto walls, windows or pictures without checking with staff. Any decorations and party supplies must be approved. We do not allow sparklers as they set off the fire alarm.

Cancelling the event will result in losing your room hire charge.
